Guidelines and Policies
- Watch your step while boarding or exiting the bus.
- Always have your exact fare ready for the driver.
- Offer front seats to the elderly and disabled.
- Use of seat belts is strongly encouraged.
- Keep children with you, seated.
- Avoid blocking the aisle with objects and parcels.
- Keep your shirt and shoes on.
- Do not put your feet on the seats.
- Avoid prolonged conversations with your driver.
- Always use earphones with your radio/player.
- No disruptive conduct will be tolerated on the bus.
- Stay seated until bus is completely stopped.
- Never cross the street in front of a bus you have just left.
- AMCAT provides curb-to-curb service. If you need
assistance walking from your home to the curb, you must find your
own assistant. Assistant may ride for free.
- Drivers do not assist passengers with groceries or packages;
only bring what you can carry when boarding.
- Only "service animals" or caged animals are allowed on the bus.
- Never carry open food or drinks onto the bus.
- Never carry flammable liquid onto the bus.
- Never carry any type of weapon on the bus.
- Smoking is prohibited on the bus.
- AMCAT reserves the right to refuse transportation to any
individual at our discretion.
